... Hello Eye Problem,
I posted in another thread which I believe you read, but I thought I'd respond here as well. I had surgery on one eye to remove two pinguecula, and the results were that I lost peripheral vision, and my iris lost its blood supply resulting in a partially atrophied (irregularly shaped) iris that doesn't constrict in bright light.

... Hi ankurs-
I saw the same thing this morning. I'm a soft contact lens wearer, and was feeling some itching in my left eye last night. I took my lenses out and was rubbing my eye somewhat vigorously for a few seconds.
I didn't think too much of it at the time, but this morning I noticed that the sclera was pink, and there is some conjunctival edema (chemosis) evident. It... (4 replies)
... What you are actually seeing is the conjunctiva, which is the clear mucous membrane overlying the white sclera. The conjunctiva can become loose and edematous from various causes (conjuncitivitis, allergies, dry eyes...). If it's new, you should see your eye doctor to see what the cause is. (4 replies)

... Hi there aefef,
Hope your eye is feeling better today.
If it is indeed a pinguecula, try buying some lubricating drops/gel -- but please ensure it is preservative free (many people, including myself, are sensitive/allergic to preservatives in drops and gels and they can make your eyes more sore/red). You should be able to buy these drops from a chemist or store, I'm not... (3 replies)

... I have been a migraine sufferer for a few years now. Last night I had a really bad one with a lot of eye pain - which is not abnormal for me. However, my husband noticed that the white part of my eyes on the inner and outer corners is blue. It looks almost as if a perfect large ring is going around my iris (but not touching).

... I have a combination of problems in my eyes, I think. They burn almost constantly and itch quite a bit. But the biggest problem to me (which is probably quite superficial and silly) is that they usually, almost always actually, have this yellowish/brown tinge.
