... Tony, not only is it not serious, it's normal. Happens with age. The vitreous humor thins out, shrinks, comes away from the retina. Other than causing more floaters, I don't think it does any damage. I'm doing okay, but my daughter was diagnosed with iritis/uveitis a month ago. That's a worry, it's a serious condition.
