... Oh, stay away from Visine or any eyedrops that constrict the blood vessels to get rid of redness. They have a rebounding effect and will actually make it worse. I've heard you should stay away from that stuff!!! It is bad news. You should probably go and visit an ophthalmologist to rule out any problems causing the redness. It could be a number of things. ... I was treated with antibiotic ointment, but this did nothing, so i was put on a two week course of steroid drops which cleared up the redness. As far as i was concerned the problem was over. ... (12 replies)
