... Definetly not a good idea unless they were intended to be worn while sleeping. Mary is right, this could cause serious eye problems. You don't want that. I'm blind as a bat without mine, but I know where everything is in the house, and never turn on the lights at night anyway. How much do you need to see when you wake up during the night? ... ink eye hun.Well I dont think it is as it can be caused by your contact lenses. Waking up with a red eye and very watery or itchy eyes is caused by keeping your contacts in overnight. I had this problem myself and you can not put any kind of eye drops, prescribed or otherwise in your eye when you are wearing contacts. ... (9 replies)
