... It's called Myofascial Pain Syndrome. A physiatrist (pain management doctor) can do trigger point injections. They work for about three months and while initially painful they feel great. NOTE: Myofascial Pain Syndrome has triggerpoints - Fibromyalgia has tender points. They are not the same thing. (17 replies)
... hi there, thanks for writing,,,I have gotten several massages, and by people who know trigger points...I love it! But it does not give me any real relief for very long...maybe a day. I will look into the shiatsu pillow..I thought I've tried them all! thanks for your advice! Cheryl (6 replies)
