I'm 16 month post bilateral calcaneal fractures. I experienced cramps in my arch at night after lying down in bed on occasion and they are excruciating for a short period of time. Stretching and massage with a lacrosse ball I feel has helped me avoid having them more often. I try to roll on the lacrosse ball every morning and night. I'm not sure if there is a correlation but as my legs get stronger I'm noticing less cramps. I still have a long way to go before my muscle mass and strength gets close to what it was prior to the injury. Good luck with the cramps.
