Nail fungus
Jun 7, 2006
I've had nail fungus for a long time but haven't had money or time to go to a doctor. I have also had a lot of kidney problems in the past and heard about a lot of damage can be caused from the long term use of the meds doctors give you. I was wanting to know if there is anything that might help my nails. I only have it on both big toe nails on the whole nail. I got both of them at different times after dropping something heavy on them. I'm open for any ideas. I have heard something about soaking your feet twice daily in listerine, does anyone know if that helps any? I'd like to get rid of it since I have avoided years of not going swimming or wearing sandles. I also wear my socks whenever my boyfriend is at home or anyone else is around since they look so bad. I'm pretty sure I got the fungus from my dad when I was still living at home since he has nail fungus on all his toes but they still at least look like normal toe nails. Mine don't grow for a month and then start to grow so they push the dead nail forward each time so the dead nail turns into layers of dead nails building up. I also have pain in my toes from it.
