I started PWB on Monday, 4 wks post brostrum repair (as directed). I'm still ouchy & on crutches, but I came down the steps almost like a normal person this afternoon! Yes, I'm careful & I had a firm grip on the handrail and my crutches under the other arm. But it was so nice not to slide down on my backside. One step closer to being a normal human being again.:) I did up too - I was ok until I got to the top step. Then I started thinking about it & half froze. The little stool is still at the top of the steps, so I just had a seat & regrouped.

Best part is I'm back to living by myself. No one is here. The washer isn't running (when Mom was bored she did laundry, my bill was 5X higher than normal) I figured out last night how to get dinner out of the kitchen. From counter to table to chair to table. I got lunch all the way to the couch today. Life's little victories.

Hooray for life's little victories! So glad we have the little victories - amazing how much the little victories feel after ankle surgery...or any other surgery, etc. So glad you are doing better and that you have your house back to yourself! Just think you are halfway through......that should feel good.

I had my stitches & staples out yesterday - as you know. Still had a rough night - couldn't get comfortable between the incisions and staple area and nerve pain.......the early evenings and nights still seem to be the worst for me. So glad you were able to conquer stairs - I have yet to go up the stairs at Judy's house..... :)
