Foot discomfort
Aug 25, 2013
I had my fusion (L4L5) surgery on Aug 5 of this year. I am doing well, no longer any pain or numbness in my right leg. I am trying to walk quite a bit..... at least 20 minutes outside at least 3 times a day. I am also trying to walk around the house. Besides being very tired, I have noticed that both of my feet either feel very cold or numb. Sometimes they are cold to the touch, but wearing winter socks has helped this; however, the lack of feeling from the ball of my foot to my toes is new to me. I did not notice this after surgery, but since walking I am really noticing my feet are not feeling normal. The doctor said that my pulses in my feet are good and did not seem concerned. Has anyone else experience anything like this? Or perhaps is this just the nerves beginning to heal?

I am 74, very active (not used to being inactive), have 4 rescued dogs and a great husband.

Any input would be appreciated.
