... I highly recommend moving a mattress downstairs, I still have a hard time with stairs. If you can't, try scooting on your butt or crawling on your knee up and down the stairs. If you can afford it, buy a set of crutches for upstairs. Practice because it's hard to stand up at the top of the stairs. ... (0 replies)

I was going up my stairs to bed barefoot when I slipped on the carpet, twisted my ankle badly and fell whacking the outside of the ankle bone against the corner of the step.
