It is more than likely scar tissue as my surgeon wants excessive scarring then to break that down for healing but I didn't know that it would scar here since the surgery was on the other side except for the scope which included debridgement everywhere. ... ... TamiNicole is correct, use those handrails as much as you can! If you feel too uncomfortable there's always the option of scooting up and down the stairs on your butt. When I was first allowed to weight bear with my boot I did this initially because I was afraid of further injuring myself. ... (3 replies)
