I don't have the injury's you have/but if I were you I would go see an ortho/surgeon who specializes in the feet/I know my ortho/surgeon did so many other test and found my many problems/my surgery took 6 hours my surgeon said I had so much wrong in there. I am not a doctor but if it were me I would seek out a very good orthopedic/surgeon. Good luck/please let me know how... (2 replies)

... can know that there is hope. As long as you realize it takes incredible TIME for things to settle down inside your body and for strength to return. I had zero problems transitioning from the cast to the boot to walking shoes. It hurt but in a good way. I was excited to test the waters, and to "feel" the ground. ... (193 replies)

... that everything was fine just pain at times. I even had a physical therapist that was talking to me as if I were faking the injury the whole time. When I went back to physical therapy after surgery, she told me "well at least you can prove now that you are telling the truth." Crazy. ... (5 replies)

... he timer to take pain meds through the night and I remember that day 2 was the worst for my pain. I don't remember that I was so tired though. It's weird to look back and see those things.
