... Plantar fasciitis is generally caused by misalignment of foot (e.g., flat arch or too high arch). The misalignment can cause tight calves, tight/inflamed plantar fascia, painful arch, heel spurs, etc. Unless the surgeon fixes your misalignment, it's unlikely your pain will go away. In the meantime, do stretches for your Achilles/calf, roll a ball under your foot, heel raises,... (7 replies)
