... I'm in Birmingham, AL. I suggest for you the same as I suggested to the other poster. Callt he front office of the nearest pro basketball or football team and ask who they use for Turf Toe. ... The bump/knot is probably caused by hallux limitus or hallux rigidus...also known as turf toe, runner's toe,tennis toe, etc. That white circle on the x-rays consists of bone spurs and chips. This is a degenerative condition and will not get better without surgery. You can slow it down by wearing orthotics but eventually the rubbing of the joint will produce more ships and... (3 replies)

... May I ask where you had your successful surgery? I'm located in NY. I've been trying everything to avoid surgery for hallux rigidus but the pain is becoming increasingly difficult to live with.
