... Fusion is going to be above what a Pod can do for you. Even if they say they can, don't do it. Fusion is for an ortho, find a good one. Ask other people, get multiple opinions if you can afford and go with who you feel is the best. ... (3 replies)

... correct height...short, shape and sudden like......believe me, you wont have to guess when your heels are too high. The two bones fused will become one straight bone eventually, you can't bend a straight bone....hence the pain if you push past a certain height. I don't miss heels anymore.... ... (3 replies)

... It's the same thing on a smaller scale. Basically they insert synthetic or cadaver cartilege or a metal cap in the joint to give it a new surface for the toe bone to move against. Do a search for big toe joint resurfacing and you'll find many articles on the various methods. ... (16 replies)
