... The surgery doesn't take very long. I was taken back to start the process (gown, IV, tc)at 10 AM and was in the car going home around 1. I will caution you about one thing and it's very important. If you care at all about what style shoe you can wear afterwards, have a frank discussion with the surgeon. ... Oh no Cloud1959 - I'm so sorry.:( That does not sound fun. I haven't had those procedures done...but I'm thinking almost anything done on the foot is painful and a slow healing process. :) How long does he think before you are healed up and ready to start these new procedures?
