... Hi fightmother, I had the surgery on October 28th, a week ago today actually. It went well. I had a spinal for it and the procedure was over before I knew it. I have been sitting on my couch for a week since, except for a brief outing to church on Sunday. My foot feels awesome now. Of course, I have not done anything to make it cranky. ... Hello All, Good to hear the progress. My 2nd surgery was a metal hemi-toe implant in the MTP which had to be removed because it "didn't seat properly". Dr. said a new implant would eventually have to be removed followed by fusion so I chose fusion. I had a bone graft from my hip and mtp fusion in 7/05. I had frequent swelling and redness so my new doc removed the hardware... (33 replies)
