... Hello All, Good to hear the progress. My 2nd surgery was a metal hemi-toe implant in the MTP which had to be removed because it "didn't seat properly". Dr. said a new implant would eventually have to be removed followed by fusion so I chose fusion. I had a bone graft from my hip and mtp fusion in 7/05.
