Not being able to tolerate bedding on that toe propelled me to get it looked at. You might want to check out turf toe to see if that is what is happening. ... I am 9 month post-op from the same surgery. 56 yr old female with arthritis.... The doctor can answer you question about heel height when you have fused the bone. I can get away with a inch to inch and a half comfortably now but I don't want to push it no further. Your foot will tell you right quick like what it will stand and when you go past the comfort height. It hurts... (3 replies)
