... d icing was a good thing to do also. You can ice it even with the cast on, put the ice pack under your knee, it cools the blood as it goes into your foot. Also a raised toilet seat helps and a bench for the tub. Those are all necessities to make it easier for you after surgery. ... (114 replies)
