... Hey there! I do keep it elevated at night, and in the morning my ankle isnt super swollen, its not normal, but definately more normal for having surgery 10 weeks ago. Its throughout the day that it baloons up like crazy!! I expect it to, but this is crazy! I will definately bring it up to OS, as he noticed it last time I was there also. ... nd weeks were just a nightmare. The third week is less intense throbbing and pain when you put your foot down. The fourth, fifth, and sixth weeks, are ok, but my toe kept twitching for the last three weeks which was annoying because they want you to move your big toe which the foot didn't like too much. ... ... Thanks Debbie, I am doing much better now, just starting on week 6. My foot still likes to be up rather than down but I am able to get around the house on crutches. My cast, NWB, will hopefully come off in one week from now, I can't wait. Hopefully, things will get better, it's been a long and frustrating journey. (6 replies)

Rainabow, I do have a muscle relaxer, Flexeril, so I can probably take that at night. Last night, for once, my foot was quiet and I was able to sleep.
