... hmm....what kind of shoes were they? just curious to get an idea of what works for you? I've had the PF release surgery done so I know what you are going thru. Some little tricks that helped me was keeping a partially frozen water bottle under my desk at work when it was back and I'd roll it under the arch. Of course doing the stretches in the am before you get out of bed,... (6 replies)

... If you MUST wear sandals, buy some birkenstocks! You have to support the bottom of your foot or you WILL have even more pain! NEVER go barefoot. Your next option on a shoe/sandal is to try Crocs. They are a bit funky looking but very comfortable. Payless shoe store has Airwalks just like them at a lesser price. Before you get out of bed in the morning, stretch your feet... (5 replies)

... hurt. Slippers do NOT have any support so that leaves them out. I use my Birkenstocks as my slippers, they have a molded footbed. There are some other brands out there so will just have to look for a good support sandal as your slipper. ... (17 replies)
