... Okay, bleeding under the nail usually isn't serious. The blood normally just sort of sits there until the nail grows all the way out. On a toenail, that takes months, but it doesn't really matter. Your toe still works, it just has a splotch of purple under the nail. ... (9 replies)

... The second one will either feel like a pinch or nothing at all. Once you're numb, they'll cut down the nail all the way and remove it. You'll bleed...alot. Don't let them cauterize it! Just take the bleeding. ... (2 replies)
