The only odd thing was that the last foot surgery (2 years ago) they made me take an antibiotic for 2 days afterwards...which really ticked me off because I'm allergic to many of them and can't tolerate most others (I throw them up). ... l non union of the bones. The best thing to do is to not smoke. Get on a patch or whatever it takes. I myself am a healthy 30 year old that has had extensive foot reconstruction and had a non union and needed to have the surgery re done.
