... i had an ankle surgery and had severe pain after the surgery. the dr that performed the surgery thought it was from the screw rubbing against the bone so I did a second surgery to remove the screw. the surgery is no big deal. it is a minor surgery. ... Hello, I am one year out from flatfoot surgery (1st met fusion, calc slide, etc) and it seems as though I am placing enormous pressure on the fifth metatarsal. It feels like a hard marble under my bone. The foot seems to tilt outward a bit too much. Has anyone experienced this? If so how did you handle it? It bothers me most barefoot but also in shoes. Ugh.
