... Yikes, 24/7!!! I would have gone crazy! I almost spazzed when they kept me locked in that stupid hospital for 5 days. I was only hooked up a total of 4 hrs to actual meds. The rest of the time I could walk around or go out, but didn't do that very much because crutching with the picc was not exactly easy, plus everyone would look at me funny and I didn't like it. ... ide, the picc line hits the side ofmy bra andit hurts. I can tell it's going to be a very longlong long 6 weeks. My home nurse said i need to stay away from my horses due to the possibility of infection from them. they are in my backyard, and they still need to be taken care of. ... (36 replies)

... ave been great with not hurting me. with the back surgery, I did have to protect it with pillows, but I wasn't able to move around for almost 3 months. Even my horses were gentle and caring around me. I really think animals can sense differences more than we can. ... (15 replies)
... reward thing. infection from this surgery as with many foot related surgeries is what causes loss of foot , not the break itself. kids don't have great circulation to feet!!! ... (205 replies)
