... That is normal and it will get better. You may have done too much at first and may want to take it more slowly if your ankle is bothering you after a few days. (19 replies)
... so quick update. i played football again on monday and my ankle felt fine the whole way through. i had my insoles in my astroturf trainers and i was so happy that i could play again. the next day however my ankle was really achy and quite stiff? should this be expected or should i ease of playing? ... oh i will defiantly buy some of them. i had my first football training session on wed and over the whole hour of training i was fine until literally the very end where my ankle felt painful. i iced it when i got home and then put tiger balm on it and the next day all good again just a bit achy. honestly the running i think has helped mine because its strengthened my ankle...
