Basically my walking cast is the exact same fiberglass cast that I had before but with the addition of a removable cushioned sandal. ... I had a Brostrom lateral procedure done 7 weeks ago. It didn't sound like there are different "levels" for the procedure depending on the injury. I had a half cast with a bandage wrap for the first week, to allow for swelling. They switched me to a hard cast for the second week, still non weight bearing. ... (6 replies)
