I was nwb with the huge heavy plaster cast for 2 weeks, then was nwb with a boot for 2 more weeks, then I was pwb for a couple weeks and was finally walking without crutches at 8 weeks post op. ... ... le. Ligaments just never healed on the right ankle after sugery . He did allow me to drive at 8 weeks after first surgery when ROM and stenght improved, taking boot off to drive.
