... take nothing else from my reply, DO NOT try to push yourself now or in recovery with any weight bearing. I did. Prob a month after surgery when I first got in a walking cast, with instruction to stay off of it, I tried to push myself. ... Well, minor breaks do heal to the point you can carefully start to use the limb again in about a month. For some breaks, they let you walk in a cast even sooner. Especially if you are a kid, but I'm guessing you're not. ... (10 replies)

Basically my walking cast is the exact same fiberglass cast that I had before but with the addition of a removable cushioned sandal. My doctor said i can put as much weight on it as long as I can handle the pain. ... (2 replies)
... Not in exactly the same position you are, but was close. I had 3 torn ligaments repaired, 1 torn tendon repaired, and then I had the distal end of my fibula broken by the surgeon to deepen the groove where the tendons sit so they won't pop out of place anymore. ... (7 replies)
