... Thanks Firelady. I know about not supposed to be resting on armpits, and wasn't using them that way, but I think they were rubbing. Funny thing is they were adjusted by a physio when I had knee surgery, and now that I've lowered them 2 notches, they're better. I think the pain near the small toe is the fact I am placing weight on the foot after weeks of not walking, so maybe it's just the reaction of that really.
