... I don't think you need to put any weight on your foot/ankle to work out you thigh muscles. Just sit back in a chair or something and bring your knees to your chest repetitively. The calf muscle however, which is my concern, needs the foot to be flexed to work that out. ... o my age I went through 7 months of a boot and 2 months of rehab. The doctor was never sympathetic and always made me feel like a baby. Remember, breaking your heel is like no other bone in your body. It hurts!!! It takes a long time to heel. I feel for you, but believe it, evidentually it will get better. ... (10 replies)
