So for the reason of what you just said your podiatrist said (tough to miss things on MRI) to you and several other reasons, it is best to see an orthopedic surgeon board certified in foot/ankle specialty. The podiatrist is wrong in that things are tough to miss on MRI. Problem is things are missed on MRI all the time. Whoever it was that told you that everyone reads them... (18 replies)
