I guess my family doctor could order an x-ray however he would probably just refer me to one of the above, which would be about a year's wait. ... You could have what's commonly called "turf toe" from jamming it. Since you did not rehab for it, it could be that it has continued to deteriorate. I'd see a sports med ortho who is foot and ankle board certified for xrays and any possible treatment. (6 replies)
