... i have had several removed. it does not hurt at all. if you have a weak stomach just do not look at it. be careful about turning it in your toe to make sure it is loose. i had one to break off in my toe. i did not know it until the doc went to pull it and only half came out. ... (6 replies)

Pin discomfort??

I have been following the doctor's instructions re: rest, elevation, ice, etc. Now that the initial post-op pain has subsided, I am feeling discomfort, which I think is due to the pins keeping my former claw toes straight and/or the screw in my big toe. ...
