... Thats great she started PT. How far post-op is she now? Hopefully they will be able to help some with the nerves and decrease pain. When I first started PT, it was wonderful and really helped to reduce the pain I was having. I also was having horrible nerve pain, but it has decreased dramatically to only night time. I understand that the surgereon wants the foot in a particular position; however, the hospital staff should be able to either talk with your daughter's surgeon to confirm it, or duplicate the way it is currently in a cast.
