But that's the good thing about the cast with this procedure--they have to keep checking it so you get the cast cut off a lot. I had 3 different fiberglass casts in 5 weeks! ... Thanks for all the responses! At my next appointment with my orthopedic doctor, I will definitely voice my concerns. I will be moving in August to start work on a graduate degree, so I would be starting PT once I move.
