... Yes it is possible that the Bromstrom failed. The repaired ligaments are not as strong as liagments before injury. The ligament can stretch out over time or you could have done something to retear ligaments. I had bilateral bromstrom failures. I never had bruising or alot of swelling, just pain and instability. ... (2 replies)

... Hi! First time ever posting here. I just had Brostrom surgery on my right ankle this morning. Repaired tendon and stabilized my ankle. I know part of the procedure is moving a specific nerve in order to get to everything. And I did also have a block done from my calf down. ... (3 replies)
