... what did you have done? i had a nerve block and it wore off the night of surgery and i was told to start my narcotics on schedule before going to bed that night to stay ahead of the pain which i did for 2 weeks before they took me off the meds. my experience with nerve thing was nasty zaps of shooting pains going up the back of my leg but below my knee. the meds made me... ... Thanks for understanding. I had so much done that my surgeon said the pain would be intense for quite sometime. I keep telling myself that I can do this but at times I wonder if I am strong enough. It helps so much to know that others can relate and give not only moral but great advice too. ... Thanks for the reply. By clicking I meant there is a clicking/snapping sensation near where the peroneal tendon is. One doctor said this is due to the tendon thickening after the sprain, another said it is subluxation. He thought since it was constantly going in and out of the groove, it led to the tear that I have now. The MRI I got most recently also showed a minor tear in... (8 replies)
