Hi, I've been having neuropathic pain (burning sensation/hypersensitivity) on the outside of my foot after having ankle surgery on my peroneal tendons in october (repair/debridement/subluxation correction/and brostrum). They started me on gabapentin 300mg daily, i know its a low dose but it makes me so sleepy! just wondering if anyone had good experience with this medicine... (5 replies)

... had my own stiffness, etc. that warming up made me feel good and in the zone for pt, maybe take some pills if needed, i have only taken a handfull of advil since surgery and prescription pain pills. and do the rice thing after your sessions and do what your body needs. if you swell up and stay on your feet all day, etc. ... I saw another dr at the practice while he was on vacation and that dr had me do wet/dry dressings. 4 days later, I saw my dr again and he had me stop the wet/dry dressings, keep it dry and steri stripped. Everything I have read has said 30 days to 6 wks means the wound won't close, so I'm frustrated that he waited until 9wks... (6 replies)
