I asked him why every 3 weeks and he said that bone growth happens in 21 day cycles. I have been in an aircast since June 9 and gosh I hope when I see him on Monday, I can get out of the aircast. ... ... Ray, the sooner you will know what is going on with your foot. Delaying medical treatment could cause more damage to your foot and heel. if you do end up needing surgery, please ask for a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in the foot and ankle. ... (18 replies)
