... Yes, the podiatrist did several x-rays and they showed no fractures. My mother had a neuroma but she had pain when she squeezed the bones of her foot together side to side and I don't have that - only have pain when pressure (even very light pressure) is applied to the bottom of the foot. ... Maybe you could be suffering from Hallux Limitus. In Stage one, there is no change on xray and no dorsal exostosis (a bump on top of the joint). There is mild joint pain.
