Seems like going in from the bottom would give a much better visual of the foot and make it easier to get all of the neuroma instead of leaving a stump which is what I am thinking I may have also even though I have not been told so. ... ... in another post, I think now what I have had all along has been metatarsalgia not mortons neuroma, since what I have experierenced has not been pain as much as a bunched up sock feeling in my foot or perhaps jumbled up nerves.
