... Hi Dawn and Sue.....I'm sorry to hear you both are still having problems. Sue, I also had a lump on the base of my 2nd toe from a previous hammertoe surgery last May. The OS told me that the bone had grown together. There is suppose to be fluid between the 2 bones where they removed the joint. ... (377 replies)

... Says I have a broken sesamoid bone. But says my mobility and flexibility at bunion surgery site is great. Suggests a cortisone shot and a shoe insert. If necessary later, removal of sesamoid bone. Don't walk much, defintely stay off of treadmill, rest the foot as much as possible. ... (24 replies)
