... I agree with earthworm to ask your doctor about the flip-flop. My doctor told me the surgical shoe acts as a splint. I had a double bunionectomy on the right foot with osteotomy on either side, temporary pins. I was in a shoe at five weeks. Glad to hear your are on the road to recovery. (4 replies)
