... Hello, everyone! Time for me to put my 2-cents in regarding ice. I had bunion & hammertoe surgery 6/3. It was a Lapidus procedure, pretty aggressive surgery for very severe condition. I was in a hard cast from right after the surgery until about 3-1/2 weeks, give or take a day or so. My point: Basically, I did not ice! Before the surgery, I had been reading (on these boards)...
