... If at all possible, I would recommend that your husband take off a couple days to be with you. If it's not possible for him, try to have someone there with you for a good 3-4 days because you will still be feeling out of it and not yet able (both physically and mentally) to do all those little things. ... I had my bunion surgery this past Friday and have my first follow-up appointment tomorrow (will be 5 days post op). Then, I have 2nd appointment scheduled for a week later and a third appointment scheduled for a week after that. Can anyone tell me what I can expect at each appointment? ... Hi, I had my Austin 10/2 and have been amazed at how quickly I am gaining mobility. I used crutches for like 2-4 days before feeling comfortable enough to start putting pressure on air boot.
