I'm having both of my feet done in the near future. I have very flat feet, which has contibuted to my hideous bunions. My sister happens to be my foot doctors secretary, and she told me that he will tell me to get orthotics after the surgery to prevent recurrence. She said this is standard procedure with him. All I can think is the technique of the surgeon has a lot to do with recovery. You may get pain relief and good cosmetic results with a 2nd set of bunion surgeries by a highly qualified surgeon but if you reach a 3rd time like I did, you will hope for pain relief and cosmetics will be the least of your worries. ...
