... Yes - I had that same exact feeling between my toes. It felt like something was inserted during surgery. lol! It goes away, but it takes a long time. I wouldn't use toe separators just yet - you're still at the point where your bones are healing together and you don't want to mess up that union. (3 replies)
... it was definitely easier. The pain right after surgery was similar with swelling and all, but it was a much faster recovery. My doctor used removeable pins, but some may use screws. ... Yes, get custom orthotics. Also buy wider toe shoes. Pointed or too narrow toe shoes cramp your toes and cause bunions. You can also try big toe separators but I don't think they help. ... (3 replies)
