A few days ago, when the scab finally came off of the big scar down the side of my toe (post-bunion), I noticed a sharp, clear, hard thing sticking out of the wound, just far enough out to get caught on things and feel weird. ... this is much longer process than I ever would have guessed. But, I was at the stage were I could not wear shoes the bunion and hammertoe were too big. I look down at flat toes and can't believe it! But, I still have to do the other foot, but I am not rushing into it. ... (8 replies)
